چکیده
Eight river catchments within Central Asia. The limited amount of water resources is already an issue in the Asian region, and climate change may be crucial for availability development countries region. This study investigates potential impacts on Asia to end century by focusing eight with diverse natural conditions located different countries. eco-hydrological model SWIM was setup, calibrated validated all selected under study. Scenarios from five bias-corrected GCMs Representative Concentration Pathways 4.5 8.5 were used drive hydrological model. results show increase mean annual temperature both RCPs century. projected changes precipitation indicate a clear trend Zhabay decrease Murghab catchments, other they smaller. trends discharge are similar those precipitation, north south Seasonal characterized shift peak up one month, shortage snow accumulation period, reduction summer months.

Assessment of potential climate change impacts on drought indicators (Case study: Yazd station, Central Iran)
This research studies the potential impact of climate change on future trend and changes of two well known drought indicators namely RDI and SPI in Yazd meteorological station, in central part of Iran. For this purpose, data of HadCM3 model that were resulted from GCM-runs based on the IPCC-SRES scenarios of A2 and B2 were acquired and analyzed for projection of daily Tmin, Tmax and precipitati...

متن کاملModelling the impacts of European emission and climate change scenarios on acid-sensitive catchments in Finland
The dynamic hydro-chemical Model of Acidification of Groundwater in Catchments (MAGIC) was used to predict the response of 163 Finnish lake catchments to future acidic deposition and climatic change scenarios. Future deposition was assumed to follow current European emission reduction policies and a scenario based on maximum (technologically) feasible reductions (MFR). Future climate (temperatu...
متن کاملAssessment of the Health Impacts of Climate Change in Kiribati
Kiribati-a low-lying, resource-poor Pacific atoll nation-is one of the most vulnerable countries in the World to the impacts of climate change, including the likely detrimental effects on human health. We describe the preparation of a climate change and health adaptation plan for Kiribati carried out by the World Health Organization and the Kiribati Ministry of Health and Medical Services, incl...
متن کاملClimate change impacts and adaptation assessment in Bangladesh
Bangladesh is likely to be one of the most vulnerable countries in the world to climate change. This paper discusses the possible impacts of climate change in Bangladesh through tropical cyclones, storm surges, coastal erosion and back water effect. The possible increase in cyclone frequency in the Bay of Bengal, lying south of Bangladesh, due to climate change is looked at by analyzing the cyc...
